

Predrag Katanic - Viola
Predrag Katanic was born in Serbia. He completed his studies at the Music Academy in Belgrade and, under the tutelage of Thomas Riebl, at the University Mozarteum in Salzburg. He graduated with honors and was awarded the Ministry of Culture's special prize for the best diploma concert in Austria that year.
While at the University Mozarteum, Mr. Katanic worked as Thomas Riebl's teaching assistant. He was also a visiting professor at the International Music Seminar in Prussia Cove, England. He was a tutor at the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester, and the Royal College of Music, London. Currently, he is a teacher at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz, Austria.
He has played viola with the Stadler Quartet since 1997. Their recordings have won many awards. He performed Stockhausen's renowned Helicopter String quartet with the Stadler Quartett.
Across the world, his students hold prominent roles in orchestras, chamber music ensembles, and universities.
He is regularly invited to give Master classes and concerts worldwide.
