Airas Nunes Aula de Cámara is a music course that combines chamber music lessons and solo masterclasses in the instruments of piano, cello and flute. The chamber music itinerary is open to groups of any size and instrumentation. The course is open to students in postgraduate/master studies, undergraduate students and pre-undergraduate students of advanced level. Pre-undergraduate students must send a short recording with the application.

Chamber music groups receive 4 or 2 coaching sessions with professor(s) at their choice. Each coaching session lasts 75 minutes.

For soloist students, there are three different modes of application:

Complete: 4 masterclasses of 1 hour. Pianists should specify their preference of professor(s).

Combined: 3 solo masterclasses of 1 hour, plus 1 chamber music masterclass of 1 hour.

Partial: 2 solo masterclasses of 1 hour. Pianists should specify their preference of professor(s).

Plenty of study rooms and rehearsal rooms are available to our students, both in the morning and in the evening, Escola de Altos Estudos Musicais. Masterclasses take place in the morning, Monday to Friday.

The course offers the possibility of having lunch Monday to Friday together with professors, organisers and students. This option, followed by the majority of the students in previous years, is a great opportunity to socialize after the lessons.

IMPORTANT:

 

- Airas Nunes Aula de Cámara cannot take care of students under 18 years old. Therefore, students under 18 years old must present a written authorisation signed by a parent/tutor which states that the parent or tutor takes full responsability of the student during the complete period of the course.

- Airas Nunes Aula de Cámara reserves its right to take pictures and videos of the activities of the course and to use them as promotional material in the future.
